Candi Prambanan is an 9th-century Hindu temple dedicated to the Trimurti, the expression of God as the Creator (Brahma), the Preserver (Vishnu) and the Destroyer (Shiva). The temple compound, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is the largest Hindu temple site in Indonesia, and one of the biggest in Southeast Asia. Located about 50 minutes from Yogyakarta.
It was time to head back to our hotel and with no taxi or Uber available, we decided to take the public bus on which we met a fellow Dutch traveller. Tomorrow we will explore the mountains around Yogyakarta with together..
Of course we ate some well deserved Nasi Goreng back at HQ..
