Day 10

Today we took a river cruise over the Li River to Yangshuo. We were picked up by our driver at eight in the morning for a 40 minute drive to the harbour. After a rough drive through the city we settled in for a 3 hour boat cruise full of Chinese tourists.

The upper deck views were simply amazing with the looming mountains, waterfalls and foggy peaks in the distance.

After arriving in Yangshuo we walked to our beautiful hotel and found some time to relax.

After a few short but hefty showers we decided to check out the town. Sadly most of it is pretty touristy but the scenery makes up for it.

Time to get some Indian food we spotted this afternoon and head back to the hotel for today.

 Tomorrow we will either be renting bicycles to explore the mountains and villages around Yangshuo or depending on the weather doing a hike up a mountain overlooking the region. Good Night Yangshuo!
