On our final day in the Zhangjiajie region we decided to revisit the National Forest Park and take the Golden Whip Stream trail. Back into the little bus for a 70 minute trip through the mountains.

This beautiful trail leads through a valley next to the clear mountain Banjian stream for around 8 kilometres. Wild monkeys live in the valley and can be very agressive..
After completing the gorgeous hike we had to take a taxi back to the entrance. We arrived just in time to catch the bus back to our hotel and grab some dinner before heading to the airport. Xi'an here we come!
Tomorrow, after a good rest, we will explore the downtown area of Xi'an!
