We came across several parks from which you can see the Forbidden City.
We took a boat to an little island with a white dagoba on top of it from which you could see a bit of the city. The park was a bit boring but the views (when not smoggy or raining) were pretty good.
Time to head to the next park in search of those beautiful Forbidden City views..
Time to walk past the Forbidden City to the entrance, take in a final view or two and head back to the hotel. The weather was pretty bad but we did see everything we wanted to see in this weird government driven city. There are police checks everywhere and you will need your passport handy.
Time to head back to the hotel, dry off a bit and get some food!
We turned into the first restaurant we came across and it happend to be Japanese! Very nice Tonkatsu and Spicy Chicken Wings..
We did some bowling at our hotel however like the swimming pool disaster of yesterday this wasn't a succes either. It was pretty expensive, we were the only ones and we had to walk the entire building twice just to get bowling going.. It should have been included like advertised on Booking.com.
Tomorrow we head out to a theme park called Happy Valley Beijing for our final full day in China. Good Night Beijing!
