It’s time to leave Hong Kong today for our first proper Chinese city: Shenzhen. We decided to grab a nice quick lunch at one of our favorite canteens and head out with the ferry and train to the border.

17 floorsIt’s time to leave Hong Kong today for our first proper Chinese city: Shenzhen. We decided to grab a nice quick lunch at one of our favorite canteens and head out with the ferry and train to the border.
After getting through the border, luckily, without problems we headed our hotel and checked out the surrounding neighbourhood. We stumbled on a little fair ground in the Cultural Workers Palace Park with stunning views of the surrounding skyline.
After a nice walk it was time to get some food and get back to the hotel.
Tomorrow we will check out some more of this crowded and bustling city!
