Day 4

Today it was time to explore the city of Lisbon and mainly the historic center of this Portuguese city. We started of the day by walking to the Basílica da Estrela and wandering the little streets before getting on the must-do tram 28 to the historic downtown.

Time to catch the number 28 tram to the historic downtown and grab some lunch!

After an amazing lunch of fresh fish we headed to the Praça do Comércio with the famous Arco da Rua Augusta and the Cais das Colunas.

Time to check out the Elevador de Santa Justa and the, by an earthquake ruined, Gothic church called Convento do Carmo.

After a nice drink with a gorgeous view we took tram 15 (the only 'modern' tram in the city) to an other part of the city called Belem. We visited the beautiful Mosteiro dos Jerónimos and the Torre de Belém.

After a nice dinner of onion soup and steak we headed back to the city to catch the subway to our hotel.
