The drive took us through beautiful autumn vistas and lots of cows just wandering around.
The road was also pretty windy and steep at times.
We had a leftover pizza lunch at the Petrified Forest State Park with some fossils of trees dating back to the dinosaurs.
Near the end of the byway we entered Bryce Canyon, where we hiked the Mossy Cave Trail featuring a beautiful waterfall.
On our way back to the car we saw an injured man being threated with several ambulances and the ranger on site.
The drive to our motel took us through the Red Canyon with beautiful red rocks and even two tunnels in the rockface.
Tomorrow we will explore this beautiful National Park!
