Day 2

After a bit of a jetlag night and some coffee it was time to explore San Francisco and what better place to start then Twin Peaks. In our search for the streetcar stop, towards the peaks, we came across City Hall, the United Nations Plaza and of course lots of Muni streetcars.

The peaks give a great 360 degree view of the city and bay area.

After a nice Mexican lunch we headed to the, not really, colourful “Painted Ladies”. These houses are famous for appearing in the intro of the TV Show Full House.

Time to check out how those cable cars get their power in the Cable Car Museum.

Of course we had to visit the quirky and crooked Lombard street which was full of tourists taking selfies. On our way to China Town we decided to take the Cable Car instead of walking. Cool experience and not for the faint of heart..

China Town has a great atmosphere and was full of people, it really felt like being back in China. It was soon time to grab some nice Chinese food and call it a day.

Tomorrow we visit Alcatraz prison and the Golden Gate Bridge!
