Today we got up early to drive to over the Tioga Pass and through Yosemite National Park. After a nice breakfast and some shopping, including getting some gas, we drove through beautiful scenery.

338 kmToday we got up early to drive to over the Tioga Pass and through Yosemite National Park. After a nice breakfast and some shopping, including getting some gas, we drove through beautiful scenery.
After a short break and a pizza lunch in Bridgeport we continued our way to Yosemite.
We passed the stunning Mono Lake that serves as a water basin for Los Angeles and took in the amazing views.
After getting our National Parks Pass, we drove over the Tioga Pass to our Hostel in Groveland which is relatively close to the Yosemite Valley.
Groveland is tiny, but luckily we found a nice Mexican restaurant to end our day.
Tomorrow we will visit Yosemite Valley aka “downtown” of this beautiful park.
