Day 14

We mostly drove along the coast of the Golf of Mexico on our way to Campeche today.

Mexican cities are filled with American franchises, therefore we bought our lunch in a Walmart.

We had our first encounter with corrupt Mexican policemen when we got an unofficial 15 euro "fine" for speeding from local policemen with orange flags on a road they couldn't oversee.

After we finally arrived, we cooled down at the hotel pool and caught our first glimpse of the historic center of the city when looking for dinner.

We will explore this fortified city with its colorful houses tomorrow.
